First National Examination

The school opened its doors to its pioneer students in 1999. The students in two streams sat for their KCSE in 2002.

Promotion To National School Level

With the help of the National Government through the MOEST funding, the school was able to establish and upgrade its structures to meet National School status. Part of this was the construction of a 90,000 litre Septic tank and a 200-bed capacity dormitory.

The elevation of Kathiani Girls’ High School to a National School Status. This was celebrated after the second lot of 180 students were admitted to the school.
